Thoughts on Death

Death –
as attractive as it seems,
is probably boring…

I mean
what if there is no soul –
that moves on to a higher
plane of existence?

What then?

You just lay there –
and rot.
Food for the worms.

Foul
noxious gasses –
bloat your body,
disfiguring –
your once “beautiful” form.
Rigormortis sets in.

I guess –
Death,
as attractive as it seemed,
is not so attractive –
anymore.

But I’ll still look forward to it.
Anything for a change –
or a new experience –
or an escape from subsistence –
or should I say –
Reality?
